Last year, I grew my parent’s small restaurant business to 47.000 followers on Instagram, reaching 14 Million views with one single reel, and creating more than 100 short form content.
In addition to that, I entirely produced more than 40 recipe videos on their Youtube channel that generated more than 500.000 views and made us reach 4.700 followers
We created an online platform where viewers can find more videos, written recipe and ingredients as well as merchandise in an attempt to monetise this traffic.
This was all part of my 6 months end-of-studies internship concluding my 4 years BBA at INSEEC business school in Lyon, France.
During these 4 years I was able to study in 4 different countries: England (INSEEC London), Monaco (International University of Monaco), South Korea (Kyungpook National University) and Switzerland (University of St.Gallen).
It opened my eyes to different cultures, ways of working and helped me develop strong communication skills, along with a great sense of teamwork and emotional intelligence, which I found key to succeed in multi-cultural projects.
As part of my professional journey, I also started to do freelance video-editing and marketing, taught English part-time, and voluntarily conducted a market analysis for the established company ASCO as part of my exchange months in St.Gallen University, in Switzerland.
With a father living in California, I had to travel often from France to the United States, and this from a very young age. Adapting to news customs and cultures, understanding people beyond language and natural curiosity is part of who I am.
Now that this milestone year has passed, I decided to go on my own journey
far to the east, back to South Korea.
While studying here I fell in love with this culture, isolated for centuries with a rich and complex history that was put in the spotlight only recently thanks to their cultural spread.
I have been passionate about videography since I can remember, but 2024 really gave a trajectory to my passion. I understood that working hard towards clear goals can create significant, tangible results.
This is when I realized that using my camera to document cultures, to bring a reliable testimony of cities, people, food, history, was my biggest dream.
Here I am now in 2025, with my own project of documenting South Korea’s culture and customs at @subtlety.tv
I hope you will follow along, feel free to contact me along this journey!
